M’Girl

Band

M’Girl’s percussive based hand drum songs blend harmonies into a contemporary gospel style, reflecting both their cultural practice and their personal story of home. Led by Renae Morriseau, their music reflects their personal journeys and cultural world views held respectfully by each M’Girl living within the urban environment of the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. Renae, Tracey Lynne Weitzel and Tiare Ann LaPorte from M’Girl will be performing along with Sheila Maracle, the Toronto-based composer and singer of their song Eyes Wide Open.

M.A.D. Love

The Boston Globe's Meredith Goldstein will be moderating the M.A.D. Love segment, in which three Mother-And-Daughter pairs will share the stage to talk about life, love, challenges and how they have learned to see the world from each other’s perspective.
