Michael has helped shape the creative and strategic direction as well as the look and feel of some of the world’s top brands for over two decades. Uniquely balancing the modern brand building world with the ever-changing modern digital world, his highly integrated brand building approach allows him to comfortably think and work across all channels: digital, social, tv and print and he has helped establish and build enduring campaigns for many global and national brands.

Previous to co-founding the Fantastical he was SVP Creative Director at Mullen Boston for over a decade helping shape strategic direction and creation of Mullen work on many of the biggest and most innovative brands, including pitching and winning Google. He also previously worked at McCann San Francisco and Cramer Krasselt in the Midwest.

Serving his clients and his agencies as both a leader as well as a doer, he is equally adept at leading teams and doing the work himself. The global Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Google, TripAdvisor, Timberland, Timberland Pro, Olympus cameras, ’47 Brand, Sam Adams, Panera Bread, XM Satellite radio, The International Olympic Committee, Fortune Magazine, JJill, The US military, NPR/Car talk, GM Credit card, Monster.com, EOS Airlines, The Ad Councils national buzzed driving campaign, GM and Nextel are just a few of the brands he has been fortunate enough to help build.

Michael also has a tremendous passion, depth of knowledge and skill in executing emerging global strategies for luxury, travel and service brands serving as Creative Director on the global Four Seasons business for over 8 years.

Michael’s primary mission has been building his clients’ brands, but along the way, his innovative work has also been recognized with multiple awards many times over in all categories from all the major award shows.

He has also served as a member of the prestigious Communication Arts Advertising Annual jury and has been appointed to two board of directors and board of trustees.
