Executive Creative Director, Grey Group
Recently Oliver opened up the new Grey office in Berlin as Executive Creative Director/Managing Director. Starting with zero clients the Berlin office won substantial new business like Germany’s biggest Sunday newspaper Welt, the Discovery Network and Heineken.
From 2010-2013 Oliver worked for BBDO NY as Senior Creative Director on global clients ATT, Monster and Pepsico.
Before that Oliver worked many years with Germany’s most creative agencies Jung von Matt and Scholz & Friends as Group Creative Director.
Last year Oliver won Germany’s only Grand Prix in Cannes for Soundcloud with the digital audio experience “The Berlin Wall of Sound”. It was the first time ever Radio Grand Prix for Germany. Plus 8 more lions with a gold lion in digital. The same work won two gold pencils and Best of Digital at The One Show 2015 and two gold at the 2015 Clio awards. His work had big impact on Grey becoming Adweek’s Global Agency of the Year 2015.
Overall Oliver’s work has won multiple awards at all national and international advertising competitions, with more than 20 lions in Cannes including another two gold for Augsburger Newspaper and Jobsintown job search.
Oliver has a long history of creative success. Already 2009 the Big Won Report listed him second most successful creative director worldwide.
His a member of the Art Directors Club of Germany, One Show and D&AD. He is a regular speaker at marketing, art and economic panels and author of two books about social media.
