As CMO, Emily leads the development and execution of Liberty Mutual’s marketing strategy. She is responsible for building the Liberty Mutual brand, driving profitable growth, and improving retention through customer marketing.
Emily has held 4 other marketing leadership roles with increasing responsibility since joining Liberty Mutual in 2013. Most recently, she was Vice President, Digital and Direct Marketing. Over the course of her career at Liberty Mutual, Emily has made significant contributions to our organization building the social, digital, and direct marketing capabilities driving our growth and deploying CARE, a CRM platform enabling personalized customer communications and experiences.
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Emily held marketing leadership roles at Colgate Palmolive and Pfizer, advised start up companies in marketing strategy, and guest lectured at Columbia Business School in marketing strategy and innovation. Her work has been widely recognized by publications like Ad Age, Ad Week, USA Today, Fortune and Forbes, and she has won dozens of marketing awards include a Cannes Lion. She received an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Yale University.
