A letter from our President
As President of The Ad Club for over 15 years, I would never have expected to be writing this letter. We are a 100-year-old organization built on the importance of up-close and personal relationships within the Boston marketing community. Announcing that The Women’s Leadership Forum, our largest event, has to be rescheduled, not only saddens us but challenges us. A challenge we are excited to embrace.
The upside – and there is always an upside – our Women’s Leadership Forum that had been scheduled for March 26 will now take place online on June 17th. It will be a digital event exclusive to ticket purchasers, featuring the same amazing speakers and networking opportunities. We will make this event incredibly interactive from the comfort of your home — you can wear your pajamas, invite your dog and you won’t have to eat chicken.
Tickets will continue to be sold over the coming months, and can be experienced by a much larger group than would normally be able to attend in-person.
We know that working from home comes with its own difficulties – isolation, added stress, no socializing, a million distractions. Our mission is to help by continuing to deliver the cutting edge content we are so well known for… from the comfort of your home office.
We promise to keep delivering you events, professional development, and topical conversations online. You will still have access to the best minds, best practices and all the people who make The Ad Club such an amazing community. Because we understand it’s more important than ever to keep your career progressing, despite everything else coming to a standstill.
We hope that you all are back to joining us for events soon. But in the meantime — stay safe, stay healthy, stay on top of the Ad Club calendar.
